Holiday Changes and Cheer!

I’m working towards building a People’s movement, a Foodies movement where we lean more towards anti-inflammatory foods. And I’m wishing you Holiday Changes and Cheer!

San Diego Foodies and Carlsbad Foodies! We’ve had quite the year. Like you may have heard from others like Tony Robbins …. You either Win or you Learn.

This has been a big year of learning for me. And as I grow into this leadership role, I’m happy to take ‘the blows’ because I come out the other side with more skills, and more ability to lead without personalizing it. Coming from a place of love and support, gratitude and good energy, we get so much more done with so much less stress. I’m happy for all I know today about leading!

Where we have been this past year

We’ve done Michelin star. We’ve done decadent. We’ve done vegetarian …. we’ve done carnivorous. I think in general, if most of the time we eat healthy and know what things to avoid other than simple things like sugar, we can all grow healthier together. That’s my game plan for the upcoming year.

For the last 6 months, I have been putting together an anti-inflammatory game plan. That includes the

Fuel Your Gut Food

right ingredients to add, the wrong ingredients to eliminate. And I think you will be surprised at some of the additions, like my favorite – purple potatoes. lol I have been using them (just one a day) in the air fryer as part of breakfast, with a runny egg over them. Delish!

Now, anyone will tell you …. I don’t believe in diets because you go on a diet, you go off a diet. For me? I want to eat clean most of the time. And I want to take out that spoon full of sugar from my coffee, when I have it. Simple lifestyle changes.

A game plan is different than a diet. You can deviate once a day, or once a week for an entire day, and still become healthier. It’s this plan I have put together that makes all the difference in the world. And our doing it together is just the cherry on top.

Also: I can tell you that after a couple of weeks of taking a full day off from eating well and eating everything you crave the other 6 days, it gets old fast! You reduce it from the entire day, to one meal, to one dish. That’s just how it works for me. And it works best in community.

Here’s one thing I know for sure: I can’t do it without you! So hopefully, we will create this Foodies Movement and make a big difference for us all! And that’s why I am wishing you Holiday Changes and Cheer!

You certainly should be mindful over the next couple of days, but eat a bite or two or three…. of what you want. You can satisfy a craving by doing tastings. So give that a thought!

Foodies Members will plan our next year

I’m turning the planning of this group over to you! Text 858-224-4485 with a healthier choice happy hour (that isn’t all fried foods) and I will schedule them as they come in.

I also plan to do some interesting supermarkets where we run through and I show you what ingredients you need that are clean to create some new food at home.

And anything you want to do, you can create it!  Be an event host and I will post it and in most cases, (where I am available) will attend to support you.
