Table of Four, 3 Michelin Star Restaurant Addison in San Diego

Caviar Anyone?

I was talking to someone in the industry yesterday, and he told me that the original man who created what is now the Fairmont Grand, listed it in Del Mar even though it isn’t in Del Mar! It’s San Diego. And I guess he pissed a few people off.

Well these days it’s called the Fairmont and it houses a Three Michelin Star Restaurant called Addison. As you know, San Diego Foodies and Carlsbad Foodies, two groups that I create events for and we do Restaurant Reviews that help you know what to order, on Yelp, Open Table, Google and right here on chefmarian.com. Today’s review is Table of Four, Three Michelin Star Restaurant Addison in San Diego.

Now I must admit that I got called away last moment into a leader ship training. So I gave my ticket to Marby. So we have Sheri, Marby, Soraya and Madhu with family backgrounds from all from different parts of the world actually giving you feedback about this experience.

You will notice there are a ton of pictures on our Yelp review. And if enough didn’t go through (I noticed 6 said it could not post) there’s enough pix on there to give you the right idea!

This is actually the first restaurant review our group has done without me there going around the table interviewing everybody about every dish so… you won’t have that this time around. You will have an overview of what people said and how they felt. After the event here’s what Sheri has to say: “Marian thank you for organizing such a memorable dinner! I am very impressed with Chef Bradley and the level of customer service we received. The food is great at Addison. I look forward to your next one.”

Dessert Anyone?

What she’s talking about is since I didn’t get to go, I scheduled a second visit to Addison December 7th 7:30 PM. And I can tell you if you are interested in attending again we’re only a Table of Four and I believe two of the seats are already taken. You can email me your contact information: mm@chefmarian.com and I will walk you through the deposit process to reserve your seat.

To continue about the food Sheri says: I love the presentation everything is so flavorful. The food has a lot of Japanese and Mexican influences. I am very impressed that they paid attention to detail ….. to notice that Madhu is left-handed and accommodate that”. So this review is going to be mostly pictures for you. The sourdough bread bowl looks amazing. And someone mentioned that the stone bowl with caviar was delicious. Another member says the dessert are unbelievable!

I’ve also taken the liberty to describe some of the dishes on the menu. What a variety of choices: from Sashimi to shellfish, Malt Vinegar Crisps to a Crispy Horse Mackerel. Lamb Ribeye to a Chicken Liver Churro. So creative. So yummy. We will go back December 7 and give you a full report and review. Can’t wait!
