In today’s world, it certainly is great to run across new friends that have brilliant ideas! So is the case with my new friend Laura.
First off, she’s a New Yorker. So we know that brain is ENGAGED for sure!
Secondly, what a BRILLIANT idea!
Tired of telling the Waiter, the Chef or the busboy who doesn’t speak english what you can and cannot eat?
How about printing a simple card that lists everything? As Laura was telling me the story about how she would always tell the waiter what she was allergic to, she would from time to time skip one item …. and YES! That would be the item in the recipe (she missed) that she could not eat.
So now she simply hands the waiter her card and asks him to bring it to the Chef. Simple, easy…. and she always gets what she can eat.
I don’t know about you, but if I were Gluten Free or had food allergies of any kind, I would print up a card like this. Think about people you know and pass the Link! ChefMarian.com!
