Every week, starting this week, I will give you some footage from the Del Mar Fairgrounds this summer. I do Cooking Classes on an outdoor stage 4 times every summer (not selling a product – just me giving you what I know about Food and Nutrition), but this year? I bumped it up a notch by featuring other chefs, home cooks, members of San Diego Foodies or people who know about nutrition and I mix that with theme of what I want to teach you. For example, one day my theme is ‘Cancer Fighting Foods’ and my guest and I teach you recipes and talk about Nutrition, so that it makes sense and you understand the value of the foods you are eating, and how that affects your body running well. Or not! lol Speaking of inspiration….
I had Craig at Inspire Video Marketing shoot the fair this year, so I have tons of footage. The great thing about the arrangement is – he shoots it and hands the footage off to me. Then I get to edit and post it on YouTube. Sometimes, it can be challenging (especially at the fair) with children crying, people walking into the shot, and people talking in general. But all in all, I learn a lot every time I edit fair footage.

Lori Cassidy? Oh yeah. Thanks for the reminder. I’ll get back to that now! lol
Her segment is posted here, along with a recipe for breakfast scrolling at the end of the clip. As her guinea pig, I will be doing Metabolic Balance over the next 3 months, to get my own interior ‘in balance’. Of course I’m going to report back if it works or not. And yes…. I am skeptical. But hey…. getting blood work done to see what nutrients your body is missing? That’s worth a try, in my world.
