Hard to believe something green like this holds so much flavor! Smoothies for breakfast rock!

You know, one of the reasons I can go out to dinner at all with you if you ask (you should use this line if you like it) is that Monday thru Saturday, I have smoothies for breakfast. lol

But it’s actually true. I might go for a decadent meal, or what is decadent for me….. simply because I know the right ratio’s. 49% animal protein, 51% veggies, that follow the protein. 3 bites of dessert (sugar)? And a full glass of water.

What am I doing here? I’m taking an acid body created by animal protein or sugar, and

turning it Alkaline again, by following it up with veggies or water.  

That does the trick!

Dr. Oz talks about intimate details of pooping…. so that gives me license to say: I used to get backed up. And everyone told me to drink prune juice or eat prunes. Didn’t mind the prunes so much, but prune juice? Yech!

Well, I’m glad ya hear me!

But these days, I find that smoothies do the trick. And that makes sense, if there’s fiber in veggies. Makes sense?

Today’s smoothie was soooooo good.

Do you know those ‘kale and carrot slivers’ they sell in small packages at Jimbo’s? Well that always comes home with me. And every smoothie I make has kale and carrot in it. To tell you the truth? It has such slight flavor that it can easily be masked. So I add French Vanilla Coconut Creamer, about an inch in the glass mixer, and equal part of water, coconut flakes (about two bunches or pinches I should say ~ but they’re big pinches), a tablespoon of figs and then if I feel like it an apple or pear. But this morning I did it without fruit. Instead, I put a half of an avocado. You know that fat is good for the brain right?

Very well. And what’s really the point of all this?

Good pooping. lol And of course, great flavor.

It’s amazing how good you feel after a smoothie like this.
